Michelle D'Urbano

The Loving Hands scarf design concept was inspired by the idea of unity. Michelle set out to create a visual expression of unity befitting of the DYNAMIC DUO theme and its emphasis on complementarity. The motif of the intertwined black and white hands illustrates the two seemingly contrasting elements becoming one, and in doing so, makes a nod to the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang. While on the surface they appear to be distinctive elements, the two hands intertwined actually define and give rise to one another. With its vibrant colorway, Michele makes this symbolic scarf design a celebration of two entities coming together in a spirit of both love and harmony.
