Our scarves are made from premium grade 100% silk twill.
Where are DESEDA scarves made?
Our silk scarves are printed in Italy and then sent to the U.S. where the edges are hand-rolled and stitched for a beautiful finish.
How do I care for my DESEDA scarves?
DESEDA scarves are dry clean only. When working with your dry cleaner, please ask them to refrain from pressing the stitched edges as they will lose some of their special hand-rolled quality if they are pressed flat.
How do I store my DESEDA scarves?
All of our scarves come with a 100% linen DESEDA To-Go envelope. These envelopes are perfect for neatly storing your scarves and keeping them out of harm’s way when not being worn. The natural linen material allows the silk fabric to breathe when stored as well. The DESEDA To-Go envelopes are also perfect for packing your scarves on your travels or toting them along wherever your daily journeys take you.
How does DESEDA work with Artists on scarf designs?
DESEDA is here to create modern silk scarves and accessories full of creativity + color. In doing so, we are building a collective of artists from around the world, called the DESEDA Artist Collective (or DearCo), to become our go-to collaborators in design development. There are two primary ways in which we collaborate with DearCo artists: direct commissions and themed open calls. All of our commissions and open call selections are paid opportunities. DESEDA names and acknowledges the artists behind our collaborations in celebration of their work and talent. The DESEDA Artist Collective is comprised of artists that specialize in a variety of artistic mediums. However, it is required that we can create a digital file of your artistic work, according to certain parameters, in order to consider your concept for a DESEDA scarf design.
Is DESEDA interested in collaborating with more artists at this time? How does one apply?
Yes! We are always interested in being introduced to new artistic talent. The best way to connect with our DESEDA Design Team is to complete the brief form at this link: DearCo.
Once we have your information, we’ll determine if you are a good fit for DearCo. If so, we’ll be in touch with more details about the DESEDA Artist Collective including potential collaboration opportunities as well as the themed artist open calls that we hold from time to time.
DESEDA scarves make fantastic gifts. All of our scarves are shipped already packaged in our beautiful 100% linen DESEDA To-Go envelopes and carefully wrapped in decorative gift tissue. You can rest easy knowing that the recipient will have a lovely opening experience after receiving a DESEDA gift in the mail.
Have a special message you’d like to include with your gift? Just type the note (including to whom the note should be addressed) in the “Special Instructions” field on our Cart page. We’ll be sure to include that message on a card in the package for the recipient.
Love the idea of a DESEDA scarf as a gift, but don’t know which design to choose? No problem at all - just select a gift card option for the recipient instead. They will then be able to select their favorite scarf design(s) and we’ll ship to them directly, lovely packaging experience and all.
We offer free ground shipping for all U.S. Domestic orders. We aim to ship all orders within 24 hours of the order being placed. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped.
We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of your receipt of the item(s) you ordered from DESEDA. Please just contact us at email@example.com

Returned or exchanged items must be in the original condition they arrived in, including the DESEDA To-Go linen envelope that accompanies all scarves purchased. Please contact us as soon as possible once you receive your item, should you want to return or exchange it. Goods must arrive within the 14 day refund or exchange period to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
At this time, we cannot provide free returns. Packages that are returned or exchanged remain the customer's responsibility until received by DESEDA. The refund/exchange will not be processed until we have received the package.
Once your return is received we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We'll then confirm that your returned item and packaging are in their original condition, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Credits will be applied within a certain amount of days, depending on the processing times affiliated with your method of payment. Processing timelines can typically range from 3-5 days.
